[ROUND 2]

“When the byte dances, miracles happen”

[Concept Styleframes Set Revision A]

“FALLING MONOLITHS”

In this approach, the scene is obscured by rotating reflective monolithic shapes as the camera pulls out to reveal additional descending structures that spin slowly, reflecting key characters from the previous story.  Subtle hints of city high rises and lit windows diffuse through the reflections and warm colored light leaks wash over the screen.  The sequence feels human – with hints of gritty city textures and imperfections.  The scene completes with the camera pushing forward into the reflective monoliths to reveal the next story.

“CITY MONTAGES”

In this approach, the transitions occur with subtle film burns and soft montage fades, with subtle hints of the ByteDance logo monoliths descending down across the screen as various character montages fade in and out of one another, with flowing lines moving through the scene.  Hints of city structures are revealed within the facial structure of the character montages.

“REFLECTIONS”

In this approach, the scene uses reflective surfaces, such as a lake in the case of Taiwan, to hold our monoliths, as well as to reflect character montages.  The camera will push in past the large monoliths and into the light to transition into the next story.  There are two styles of treatments for the monoliths here – one which reflects city structures on their surface, and one which reflects character montages.
